As you probably discovered by now, Wilkes University is all about community. That’s why there’s HelloWilkes.com.

This is your chance to get to a glimpse into daily life at Wilkes. Hopefully, you’ll use this site to get to know the other freshmen who’ve been accepted at Wilkes (which can help you avoid all those awkward introductions your first day in the dorms). You’ll also get to strike up conversations with other members of the Wilkes community: seniors, club presidents, professors, faculty—even President Tim Gilmour might drop in to say hi from time to time. Ask questions, explore, and above all, have fun. This is your site, so make it your own.

If you’d like to suggest some other activities at Wilkes you’d like to discuss, send your ideas here. We’ll be updating the list from time to time, so keep your eyes peeled.

One last note: Please use some common sense. Speak freely, but be respectful. Profanity will probably get your comments deleted, and repeated misuse could result in the deactivation of your account. (If it’s something you’d be embarrassed to say in front of your grandparents, it’s probably best kept to yourself.) Also be cautious of revealing deeply personal details. This site is not open to the public, but it is available to a wide community, so check your head before you hit the “submit” button.
